Since joining Afghan Coalition in 2023, Sohrab has been a driving force in supporting Afghan refugees and newcomers as they navigate their new lives in the United States. His work focuses on providing tailored career guidance, job placement support, and educational opportunities for the Afghan community, especially recent arrivals. Sohrab has successfully managed the Google Certification programs, benefiting over 250 individuals in their professional development. In addition, he has personally assisted more than 100 community members with resume writing, interview preparation, and career guidance, several of whom have secured their first jobs in the U.S.
Sohrab’s commitment to professional development and his passion for helping others have made a significant impact, bridging the gap between past experiences and new opportunities for Afghan newcomers.
