Dr. Farid Younos is a prominent scholar, author, advocate for gender equality and human rights, recognized for his outspoken views within the Afghan-American community. With a doctorate in International and Multicultural Education, he has become a well-known television personality, gaining millions of viewers worldwide through his thought-provoking ideas, particularly on women’s rights and the politics of Afghanistan. Since 9/11, Dr. Younos has focused on educating others about Islam and the political dynamics of the region.

He has been featured in major media outlets, including The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Washington Post, and CNN. A prolific author, his works include Gender Equality in Islam, Principles of Islamic Sociology, and Islamic Culture among many others.
