Dr. Masoud Juya is a highly accomplished leader and entrepreneur with over two decades of experience in higher education administration, health, and the nonprofit sector. As Associate Director at Afghan Coalition, he plays a vital role in empowering Afghan and underserved communities in Northern California. He has founded several successful startups, including a university in Afghanistan, and has been a co-founder and board member of several educational and health-focused institutions, shaping their strategic direction since 2013.
A two-time Fulbright alumnus, Dr. Juya holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from the University of North Texas, a master’s degree in health and nonprofit administration from Brandeis University, and a Doctor of Medicine from Afghanistan. With a proven track record of leadership, academic excellence, and community service, he continues to drive impactful change through his work.
